The Knights of Columbus-St. Martin De Porres will hold a Lenten Fish Fry tonight, Friday, March 1 at The Triangle in Dripping Springs on the northeast corner of the intersection of 290 W and RR 12 from 4pm-7pm. For orders to go.

Ladies Bunco Night tonight, Friday, March 1, at Texas Hill Country Olive Company (2530 W Fitzhugh Rd) 6:30pm – 9:30pm to benefit the YMCA’s Partner of Youth Campaign. The $25 registration fee supports the giving program that enables the YMCA to offer discounted memberships and programs to families in financial need. All money raised in DrippingSprings stays in Dripping Springs. To register, click here.

The Dripping Springs 912 Project hosts a Preparedness Seminar at the Church of the Springs on Saturday, March 2, starting at 10am. The seminar will end around 1pm. The program hopes to offer ideas for the community to create a plan for developing the basic skills and resources required for self-reliance in normal times, catastrophic time (job loss, sickness, etc.) and emergency situations (fire, weather, etc.). In addition to information on basic food and water storage, John Scott, President of Hays County Master Gardener Association, will talk about and answer questions on gardening, and North Hays County Fire/Rescue will discuss fire safety and the CERT program. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
