Cause of Ace Hardware Fire in Wimberley Will Remain Undetermined

Hays County Fire Marshal Mark Chambers announced late today that the team assembled to investigate the fire at the Ace Hardware in Wimberley had found no evidence of wrongdoing or criminal activity and the building has been released to the owner. The exact cause of the fire will remain undetermined due to the extensive damage to the property caused in part by the collapse of the roof and fire that smouldered for some 24 hours underneath the collapsed roof.
